It's finally happening!
After years of talking about it and saying "some day", it's finally the right time!
We are gearing up to offer our first class this summer! Cost and details are still pending but here's what we are planning...
Introduction to the Wheel - Beginner class
Class will meet once a week (for 4-6 weeks in the evening for 2.5 hrs)
Classes will be held in Kimberly's private home studio outside of Sylva!
Very small classes of no more that 5 students (ages 14 and up). Classes will include a 25lb bag of clay, use of your own pottery wheel, all glazes, and kiln firings.
This beginner class will introduce students to the pottery wheel. Students will learn to center and throw small cylinders and bowls, trim and glaze their finished pots, and gain a general understanding of the whole pottery making process.
It's gonna be loads of fun in a friendly, laid-back environment!
