General Location
Tucked into the Smoky Mountains of Western North Carolina
In the Heart of the Smokies
Mudpuppies Pottery is based in the Savannah community of Jackson County, North Carolina, just outside the mountain town of Sylva. Kimberly's private 1,600-square-foot studio sits on historic family land near Little Cove Knob, surrounded by rushing creeks and long views of the Great Smoky Mountains. It's a quiet, grounded setting that shapes every piece made there.
Classes will be held at Kimberly's private home studio in the Savannah Community of Jackson County, NC. Exact address will be given to registered students.
Finding the Studio
Because the studio is part of a private mountain home, we don't publish the exact address online. The general area is the Savannah community outside Sylva, NC, roughly an hour west of Asheville and convenient to Western Carolina University.
Once you've registered for a class, you'll receive detailed directions and the exact location with your confirmation email. Have questions before booking? We're happy to help.

A private mountain studio
Mudpuppies Pottery is a working home studio, not a retail storefront. Visits and classes are by appointment so Kimberly can give each guest her full attention. After you book a class, you'll get everything you need to find your way — including turn-by-turn directions to the studio door.
